On a sunny day, sitting in the charming garden outside is a true pleasure, although there are plenty of seats available inside as well. The restaurant features quirky decor and a selection of local arts and crafts for sale. However, the main draw is the exceptional quality of the coffee and food, which surpasses the offerings of other bakery shops in Y'puk.
The coffee at this restaurant is outstanding and the atmosphere is great. The women who run it are really good at what they do. The music is good and the building is lovely with a lot of history. I highly recommend it.
Delicious Havana coffee is not easy to find in the Bay area. The music is pleasant and the service is always top-notch with the same friendly staff. I really enjoy it!
This is an awesome place to stop and enjoy a break when driving in Hawkes Bay. The El Fresco dining is great, covered or uncovered, fantastic views of the surrounding rolling hill farm land, very good coffee and a wide selection of cabinet or menu food on offer. Also has a great little selection of local articles for sale, from handmade place mates to trinket bowls and earings. Really recommend this as a must stop while in HB.
