Hitchhiker - Oslo

A lot of food for the money (we did the big menu, came hungry and barely could finish). The food is very good, but not outstanding.

Interesting service choice for a Saturday afternoon. First we got ignored waiting at the door to be seated. One waiter stood face to face to us and rather looked at his feet than make eye contact. So we sat down at an empty table. Then after the “blind” came the “mute”, a waitress that looked at us twice and wasn’t able to reply TWICE to a simple “hi” and just smiled back. And then after another 5mins a third waiter came and finally talked to us, just to tell us that usually guests wait to be seated and I replied that usually we don’t get left at the door and ignored. He didn’t even apologise, sat us on a different table next to left over dishes and then let us wait another 15mins till we decides to leave.

Very exciting sharing menu. Went here with my restaurant partners and had almost everything on the menu. We loved the idea of the menu. Delicious, exciting and surprising. Service was top! The place to go if you're craving for something new and tasty.

The food was great and the atmosphere is nice and chill. They have a selection of a 5 or 7 course meal. The dishes can be bought alacarte as well. So you have the possibility to grab something easy to eat or make it a proper evening out of it.

Had pulled pork tortilla and PakHoyaki, I recommend both
