Tipp. buy a whole chicken family contract. so much cheaper and they also cut it. there are also deal they get the spiced pommes as well as so much better

Swiss Chalet restaurants in Ontario used to be famous for their delicious fries. However, now they have started serving worse quality fries. It is disappointing and it seems like neither the head office nor the restaurant manager cares. Despite many excuses, the bottom line is that they are no longer interested in providing their once loyal customers with excellent food. It is a shame to see them shoot themselves in the foot like this.

I always go to Swiss Chalet at this time of year for their Festive 1/4 chicken dinner. I know that we in Durham are in a red zone, but was surprised to find out that the dinning room was completely closed, so we ordered takeout....The chicken,(dark meat), was the smallest that I have ever seen. It was dry and the skin was like leather. The baked potato, stuffing, and sauce were fine, but not good enough to balance the chicken. At least they couldn't screw up the Lindor chocolates.

Went to this location last night for takeout. While the girl who took my order was friendly and helpful, I discovered when I got home the ribs and fries (what little there was of them) were ice cold and dry.

My friend and I visited this location recently. We have both been to several of these franchise locations but this one didn't measure up. The staff was lucklustre some were just standing around looking bored. No greeting from the greeting station, no assistance with...menu option, no suggestions re dessert, no offers to re-fill coffee. Waitress asked if everything OK but with no interest. The staff here seems pretty young perhaps because we were there for lunch mid-week. Food is always good at each location but miss the little finger-wash bowls. Probably wouldn't return to this location.
