We stopped since we have seen great reviews here in Google , and it DID NOT disappointed; dont let the looks outside fool you ; they have buffet style food serving behind the counter ready to go but seeing another customers coming in We realized they make empanadas and other goodies ready to eat on the road; we did a quick bite and really enjoyed it ; the most we savored was the colombian empanada; very very tasty ?!... Nice little corner place, sandwiches fresh and good and fresh coffee
Authentic flavors with excellent prices super delicious. Have not tried something here I didn't like
I get take out from this place all the time — absolutely delicious food, fantastic coffee, and friendly service!
Such an underrated hidden gem that deserves way more attention! It is truly the definition of a hole in the wall spot- super tiny, a couple tables, right on the side of a gas station. I found it by accident after pulling into the gas station randomly to make a U-turn and I'm so glad I did. The food in the buffet looks homemade and fresh, I haven't tried it yet but I will be back soon. I did try the beef empanadas and oh my goodness. Best empanadas I've ever had. Packed full with deliciously seasoned beef filling and the shell was perfectly crunchy and flaky and not greasy at all. You can just tell how everything is homemade and made with love.
While running some errands with my mother we decided to grab a quick bite at Sazon Sabor Latino Restaurant. It's a small shop attached to the side of a gas station with a few tables that is extremely clean. Once we ordered our food it was delivered to our table fast. We ordered 2 pizza empanadas which came out piping hot so be careful when eating these, they were good. Then we ordered a Steak Sandwich/Sandwich de Bistec and split it between the 2 of us. The sandwich was good as well. The best part of this whole meal was the Alcapurrias de Guineo. Usually in other Latin restaurants the alcapurrias are bland and have a rubbery consistency but these were crisp and flavorful. They actually taste exactly how my mom makes them and I will definitely come back for more. Overall the food was good and the cost didn't break the bank.
