We really enjoyed our dinner. The lasagna was delicious, the deserts, especially the crème brûlée were amazing. We had a bottle of the house Merlot, it was actually hot, like it had been sitting next to a stove or something but surprisingly the taste was fine. We will be back for casual occasions. What José Luis Andreu doesn't like about Papa Lozzi Italia:
Ingredients seemed fresh and it had an OK taste. Nevertheless, In our opinion, the pizza we ordered lacked cheese and pepperoni, and it also did not have enough sauce in some areas. Additionally, it was not cut properly across the entire pizza. View all feedback.
This place is utterly the best and most authentic Roman food I've had. This is the place and you can clearly tell the owner and his employees/Family work to put out the best food as well as the best service. I am here now and I recommend this place and all their food.
Amazing food and service ! The ambiance is amazing and every one is so hospitable towards their customers. Highly recommend.
Far surpassed my expectations. Several fresh pastas on the menu. The spaghetti with meatballs was amazing, as was the bolognese. The Caesar salad was the best we 've ever had, and we ALWAYS try the Caesar when we go somewhere new. This was by far the best. The pizza was a big surprise. You have never tasted pizza crust so delicious. Pillowy soft without being too dough y , topped with the perfect cheese mixture. Try any pizza on the menu, you will not be disappointed. The crew here know what they are doing. Just try it out. Lastly, Torez is an angel he was friendly, welcoming, and provided stellar table service.
The food was fantastic and our sever Masa was wonderful! We are moving to Va but otherwise we'd be coming back again and again!
My favorite Italian hidden gem in the UCF area! It is a small authentic Italian place that you need to try! The service is always so quick and friendly. They also offer free fresh bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. For starters, we decided to get our favorite dish which was the beef carpaccio! I love the truffle oil sauce on it, which I feel like ties the dish together. The beef is incredibly tender and I love the salad fresh parmesan that fills the dish. For entrees, my two favorite pastas here would be the penne pesto and carbonara. The pesto is very fresh and tastes homemade. Definitely one of the best pesto sauces I've ever had : For the carbonara, the sauce is very creamy and always filled with pancetta. We decided to substitute rigatoni instead of spaghetti which I feel like makes the dish taste even better! Overall, this is such a authentic Italian place that more people should be aware of and check out. Hands down one of my top Italian places in the area :
