BOMA! During our stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge, I managed to secure a last-minute reservation for a Saturday night at 6:10, just a week before our trip. What a win! I feel as though... View all feedback.
What Joel C doesn't like about Boma Flavors Of Africa:
First of all, I want to mention that our server, Brandi, was incredibly friendly, fun, and overall outstanding. She really excelled at her job and made our experience great. We'd definitely return just to see her again if... View all feedback.
We had previously sent a special food request to Disney to ask Halal Food. When we arrived at the restaurant, we asked the manager to inform him about it. The arrangements were made in advance and the manager brought out the chef who personally gave us a tour through the buffet to show us what we couldn't eat from half a point of view. There were many vegetarian options that we could eat from the buffet, including hummus, dips, soups, corn sauces with gravy, bread, mash and spinach and various desserts including the banana chocolate pudding). For the net, the restaurant had prepared a simple roasted chicken with salt and pepper. Simple yet tasty for those who do not have a chicken on the skin). The cook also kindly sent a huge dish of oven roasted salmon again slightly seasoned) as the salmon in the buffet had a wine base reduction. For the service this place was 5 stars. For food there was a mixed opinion among us due to some Fussy-Esser children and tweens), who would prefer chicken without skin, some nuggets or chicken strips etc. Oh, good, can't everybody please! I personally thought the Veggie buffet was great and was delivered enough on the net. So give this place a total of 5 stars as it is my review! Top Tip: If you have a special menu, note that this is a buffet restaurant and therefore your most important restaurants can be limited, but the price of the buffet will not change $40/adult and $22/kid 18% Gratity).
Authentic African preparation of food with a great price despite being at the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. A perfect place to bring out of town guests.
Great breakfast this morning. They were very busy and we arrived about an hour and a half before our reservation. They got us in shortly after arriving. Our server Jennifer was friendly and gave us tips for the buffet. The selection is vast and the food delicious. Not one thing that I got was cold or terrible. It's very exciting to try some of the African inspired items. I think it may be acceptable to have juat the bread pudding for breakfast!
Unbelievably good food! One of the best buffets in Disney World. I couldn't recommend this place more! I went four years ago and it tasted just as good then as it does now! Zebra domes are little drops of heaven! It's a little on the pricey side but it's worth it!
The photos attached are from dinner which ia deliscious and the zebra domes (not shown) are a killer dessert pffered atthis buffet! People can be hesitant to dine when they hear African influence but it is such a wonderful spread of flavors in this all you can eat buffet! As with any restaurant in Disney, if you have any sort of allergies, they will have the chef come out and walk the buffet with you going through what is suitable or not for your allergies. Breakfast is my personal favorite here, but no matter which you choose, plan for a nap after because you will be stuffed!
