Estella's is a fantastic Tex-mex restaurant located in Oregon, OH on Route 2. While the exterior may need some attention, do not be discouraged from going inside! We always start with the delicious queso. My partner loves the street tacos, especially the steak, chicken, and carnitas options. I opted for the individual nachos with beans, cheese, jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream. This was our second visit and we ar... View all feedback.
Only bad. had a party and every body eating was great. the salsa and chips were good, we had a few different things. from chili rellenos to fajitas to burritos. everything tasted fresh and good. the waiting staff was fast and friendly and very courteous. their margaritas are certainly ingenious. is very good and safe will be back.
Eating is great and you get a lot of it. the drinks are the best and the people are fantastic.
We decided to try Estella's today after reading some reviews, but we were very disappointed. When we arrived, it looked like the restaurant was closed because there were no signs in the windows and the grass was overgrown. However, the restaurant was actually open. We were seated right away, but there was only one other table occupied at 5:30pm, which should have been a red flag for us. The salsa was flavorless and the chips were nothing special. We ordered the homemade guacamole, but it was disappointing as well - it was very lime-heavy. My husband got a steak and chorizo quesadilla, while I had a chicken breast with chorizo, but both dishes were bland. It seems like the positive reviews are not accurate and are likely from friends or family of the restaurant. The decor felt outdated and unclean. Overall, there was nothing Tex-Mex or authentic about this place, and we will not be returning.
We are thrilled that we decided to dine at this restaurant! The food was incredibly authentic and the service was outstanding. All the dishes tasted very fresh and we had a fantastic meal overall.
We were on our way back from Cedar Point and stopped for dinner. I have never been here before, but I've driven by it many times on the way to or from Cedar Point. The decor is not great, but the food and service was awesome. They give you chips and salsa, but if you want more they do charge for another bowl. I think it was only $1.75 so it wasn't too bad. I got the pollo a la diablo which is very hot (spicy) chicken. It came with rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. The portion size was really good and I ended up taking some home for leftovers. My son got the fajitas and he really liked his food also. I would definitely stop and eat here again.
