Sorry, but who has the guts to charge 15 EUR for Verduras Temporada and then serve a broccoli, carrot and coliflower mix that you buy at Mercadona for 1.50? And on top of that, they totally nuked it in the microwave. Shame! The 20 Eur Pulpo a la plancha was acceptable but way overpriced. The Bacalao was the usual salty kind with canned bell peppers on top. Zero finesse. Who is running the kitchen? Kindergarden kids? Avoid this restaurant.

We ate here as we were staying in the hotel and I’m so glad we chose the restaurant. The staff were excellent and the menu was also decent. I tried the steak which was sublime and perfectly cooked. The breakfast the next morning was also a very pleasant experience. Based on our experiences I would certainly recommend you eat here and think you’ll be very happy with your decision.

We stayed at the hotel and ate dinner in the restaurant. Restaurant has an a la carte menu but also lots of other menus that cmbine dishes from the a la carte menu at different price levels and include wine too. We opted for the dearest combination option €38/head. That included 2 starters from the a la carte a main course selection that included the 500g T-bone steak, a pudding and half a bottle of wine each. It is not fine dining but it is great ingredients cooked very well.

We have had a lot of drip in this small but charming restaurant. the views are beautiful and the food is excellent. a lot of variety and all the very careful dishes in the presentation. very friendly staff, we will be safe for another special occasion

The county of oñate is a Spanish nobiliary title created on September 18, 1481 by the Catholic kings in favor of íñigo vélez de guevara y ayala, lord of oñate, son of pedro vélez de guevara and his wife constanza de ayala (nieta of the Chancellor pedro lópez de Ayala)2. in 1640 the king of the Philippines iv granted him the greatness of spider to the íñigo guerre and tasis, married with cataline guevara vélez, v condessa de oñate. zumeltzegi tower, before the condal family house, now restaurant, where it eats very well and excellent. the quality of fish and meats is out of doubt, loose a small salad (the grass). a great variety of wines in the menu, it is not difficult to approach with this broth, all are excellent wines. unbeatable attention, quiet dining (without customer noises without drawbacks and demerits of this place so pleasant). recommended, I will definitely come back.

Both the hotel and the restaurant are highly recommended. food is very rich and at reasonable prices. There is an excellent menu in the middle of the day. the oñate views and the atmosphere are sensational, and the treatment is very welcoming.
