I was pleasantly surprised to find a great espresso in Cyprus, as it can be hard to come by. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great espresso in Cyprus, as it can be hard to come by. The prices were also very reasonable.
There are 2 George Bakeries in Omodos. One is the original, owned by the parents, and the other is run by their children. The one I am reviewing now is the original bakery, known for its high-quality products. I purchased a variety of items such as sweets, bread, pastries, olive oil, and wine, all of which were of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Despite being in the midst of tourist season in mid-August, the prices were fair. The bakery is a large two-story establishment, offering a wide selection of delicious products. I give them a perfect score of ten for their impressive store.
There are 2 George bakeries in Omodos. The first and original one belongs to the parents, while the second one belongs to the children who have continued and expanded the family business. The one I am showing you now is the parents' bakery, the good one, the oldest one, and the one that stands out. Here we bought several things over several days; sweets, bread, pastries, olive oil, wine, etc. All of them at excellent quality- price conditions. All the products are local and also very good, of very high quality. Even though we were there in the middle of August, when there are more tourists, they did not overprice any of their hundreds of products. A store with everything, absolutely everything... Two floors with over 400 square meters each, full of tempting and delicious products. A 10 for them!!
It can be challenging to find a good espresso in Cyprus, surprisingly. Usually, it's best to opt for a frappé, their national drink that they do very well. However, I chose to get an espresso to perk me up on a hot day, and I must say they make it excellently here. My partner loved the fig jams we discovered at this café. She really enjoyed the place. I personally found the decor a bit overwhelming, but the fig jam we purchased to take home was a hit. Prices were very reasonable overall.
