Muddy Creek Cafe - Omakau

Stopped here for a warm break on a cold day what a cute wee cafe. I bought a hot chocolate and a Torta Bianca My go to is Almond Milk, but they were out, so I got an okay Oat Hot Chocolate, The Torta Bianca however was just amazing. So good that I took 2 for later with a Blueberry which did not disappoint. Will definitely go back for the baked goods.

My brother and i both had one of the famous homemade pies with a chocolate oleau (or something like that) afterwards. All was absolutely delicious. Such a lovely spot with incredible food.

What a gem! A good range of food both cabinet and menu, great coffee. A cool vibe with french music, memorabilia and owners! Don't miss it! The ham and cheese toastie had just the right amount cheese, not too much, and a very good homemade muffin.

Great cafe, delicious cabinet food and breakfast options. They even do takeaways like burgers and fish n chips. We tried the Benedicts and honestly one of the best I've tried in Otago, perfectly poached eggs, fresh home made focaccia and In-House smoked salmon, wow! My partner had them with avo and bacon, also great quality with local ingredients. The new owners received you with a smile and very welcoming. Great option for a stop around while exploring Central Otago. 100% Recommended

Lovely little spot for breafast... will be going back to try some of the delicious cabinet food! Hot choccy was supurb! You know a good barista when they can make soy as good as normal milk
