Contribute FeedbackLalibela offers a unique Ethiopian dining experience with intense flavors and a cool ambiance. The combination platter is a must-try, providing a mix of meats, sauces, and vegetables served with injera bread. Eating with your hands adds to the fun, although the injera's sourness may take some getting used to. The saucy meat dishes and flavorful spices impress, with the chicken standing out. The tea is sweet but optional. While the food can be heavy, sharing the platter is recommended. Overall, Lalibela is a great spot for adventurous diners seeking authentic Ethiopian cuisine in a friendly atmosphere.
I highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered the combo, vegetarian, and the tibs. Some dishes are a bit spicy. Be prepared to eat with your hands, but you can ask for utensils. The spiced tea is a must-try! The combo and vegetarian options are generous, serving 2-3 people. The owner was very friendly and attentive, even providing some food for our restless toddler while we waited for our main dishes. I definitely suggest trying out this restaurant!
Definitely worth trying. Food is excellent with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Really enjoyed the cuisine and will return.
Strongly recommend a visit to the Lalibela. The food had great flavor and was reasonably priced. The service was a little slow, but its well worth the wait.
Food was excellent ! I didn't know this place existed until I looked up vegetarian restaurants to take an out of state friend to, Maybe not a great place for a first date since you eat with your hands but hey maybe the third or fourth date? Open on Sundays too. Combo plates easily feed 2 or 3 people. Somewhat spicy but delicious! Try it.
Wonderful reviews lead us here. Needless to say I will be stopping again. Excellent food. Order the combination (or vegetarian) and spiced tea. Either meal is enough for two so order accordingly and enjoy. We sure did.
