El Aguila, we miss you! Your warm, efficient staff, delicious, bottomless basket of complimentary Tortilla Chips & Salsa which we inhaled while waiting for our freshly prepared Burrito Dinner, and yummy Enchiladas. And, there is nothing to compare to topping off our meal with Huge, Fresh Puff Pastry Sopapillas. Can't wait for when you reopen at your new location! I updated my phone and lost my photos. What Esther Schumm doesn't like about El Aguila Restaurant:
If you are NOT looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, this is definitely the place to go. The salsa tasted like the tomato paste was 3 years old and the enchiladas must've been served from a bucket. There was an olive in my beans that Queen Elizabeth the First must've spit out at a shitty cocktail party. Please stay away. Your stomach and your children's grandchildren will thank you someday. Big! how expensive. taco bell is amazing in comparison! that was absolutely the worst place to eat! only after 2 hours the bad taste left my mouth! I ordered the Taco salad. the flesh resembled the bark, but certainly did not look like that. I am sure that she added a herbal protein (a meat flavored extender) to it. it was also very salty. the salsa tasted as if it was made from spaghetti sauce. my girls ordered the Nachos-Ubere. most meal times were sat. let me tell them we're not strangers for Mexican cuisine. but taco bell would have been a gourmet menu, compared to this place! yuck! on a good note. the service was good and yes, we have tip...read more
Very good food.. Took my wife there for the first time. She loved the food.We have eaten at almost all the Hispanic restaurants in the Omaha and surrounding cities. This is now her favorite place to eat.
Great Family restaurant. Love the family atmosphere, never had a bad dish. Everytime we are there we find a new favorite to try off the menu. The cheese and mushroom enchiladas are one of the best things on the menu. After all the places we go this is one we can go to every week. Staff is great and love daily specials. just a place we keep coming back and tell our friends about.
Loved the enchilada verde! First time there cant wait to go back, no 32 oz margarita, not worth it. But everything was great and waitress was awesome.
