Contribute Feedback What Rita Fankhauser likes about La Perla:
This restaurant is placed strategically so that the outside tables have a commanding and impressive view of the Aarburg castle and the Aare river. We enjoyed our drinks and the sunset view outside, then moved inside for a nice dinner, as it was becoming fresh. Also the inside is very special, a large vaulted room that must have been a wine cellar or some such, maybe associated with river trade or the castle. Service... View all feedback.
What Christoph Henz doesn't like about La Perla:
It somehow tries to convey an upscale atmosphere. The treatment of the guests, the cleanliness and the food presented do not correspond to this at all. The quality doesn't justify the prices either. Our reservation had probably been lost, the table still had to be prepared after the welcome on our initiative. The napkins were forgotten. The salad dressing is noticeably from a discount store, the fries taste like old... View all feedback.
Very stylish atmosphere, good service, very friendly. We were here for lunch. The food was excellent, as was the wine.
Great ambience paired with pleasant service. But the most important thing is the food. Spectacular beef tartare! I would have eaten 2 or 3 if I had known how my taste buds liked it. A real wow! The main courses were also very good. Giant prawns and the fish platter deserve 5 stars. We can absolutely recommend La Perla and we will certainly visit it again soon. We will definitely order a beef tartare or 2 again. Smile! Many thanks to the whole team and see you soon.
This is our first time here in the restaurant; very nice, friendly service, the food was very tasty; Ambience wonderful...
We were returned to the company dinner in this restaurant with about 20 people. at the beginning it worked wonderfully with the service. we were all supplied with drinks, the gruss from the kitchen reads not long wait for itself as the appetizer. it took a very long time until the main course was served. we could choose in advance between fish, derecote or various meat medallions. the first thing I have to criticize is that we all got the main course served at different times. I was almost finished with my fish, and everyone else got her first. the second thing I did not find in order that none of the present was asked about the degree of entrecote (the ones who had chosen it) then, as already mentioned, it just took too long between appetizer and main course. when all the food was finished we once again waited a beaten 1 1/2 h for dessert! absolute no go! coffee etc was served an hour before dessert. incredible! the high point, however, was that we sat there almost 2 h without new drinks and nobody thought necessary to serve it. we have been ignored as I said, several hours! now to the quality of the food: I found it okay, you could eat it definitiw but didn't blow me around. Anyway, I would never go to dinner again, because the coordination just didn't work at all. Perhaps too little personal was allocated for this evening, but I have no understanding for it, because the reservation was long ahead and you could have planned it better. I am therefore not recommending any further, sorry.
Very beautiful locality, excellent eating, varied map, the host is very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
