His is our time in Olhao and normally like this restaurant however last few visits have been very average… the beautiful Sebass required seasoning and if not for the oil and garlic that my husband transferred from his plate of tuna and onion it would have been tasteless. Cannot fault the service and wine but the food needs to improve from a seasoning and cooking perspective to match other Olhao restaurants. View all feedback.
On a recent holiday to Olhau, we stumbled across the absolutely stunning gem Piteu. The brothers that own the restaurant have knowledge beyond their years of food, and I would trust them on every visit to recommend to us what to eat. And each time surpassed the last. Our first day in Olhau we decided to return to the beautiful city, but after eating in Piteu we decided it would be a lot sooner, and that we will be booking a table in advance! I don't know what it's called but ask Carlos about the monkfish and rice (you're welcome! . Couldn't recommend a restaurant and people more highly.
My wife and I have eaten in this restaurant for many years. We have become firm friends with the proprietors, parents and sons. In my opinion it is the best restaurant in town, good food with personal and friendly attention.
Sorry, but it 's been a long time since we ate anything as awful as at this restaurant. We ordered seafood pasta. It was a failure. When I read pasta I mean spaghetti, tagliatelle, fettucine or whatever. This, however, turned out to be mac n cheese pasta. Awful. The whole dish was awful, it tasted worse than the worst seafood-flavored tomato soup! Very bad experience, this dish cost 30 euros and totally not worth the waiting in line. I ate a bit because I was hungry, and the opening hours of the restaurant are overwhelmed by the coronavirus, and I regret it because I was sick for two days after that. I don’t recommend this place.
That was pure perfection! The Cataplana and Sangria Jug is just ridiculously good and the service was excellent! I would recommend that to anyone!
The kitchen probably messed up our order as I saw customers that arrived later being served first. Our order took almost 1 hour to arrive. The fried squids were not properly cleaned and the stingray was blend. The staff seems short for the size of the restaurant but very sympathetic though
