Bad food , bad service on the night daughters 18th special meal mediocre at best night place but terrible service

Perfect, simply perfect. Staff were pleasant attentive without being too 'in your face '. The restaurant was busy lively but there is always a quieter corner to dine in if you don 't like that atmosphere. I went with a friend our mums for my birthday treat. We had the mixed seafood platter to share was more than enough! The garlic bread with cheese is a favourite very moreish. We has classic carbonara (cooked the perfect Italian way of course! , sirloin steak, another classic penne pasta dish that also looked delicious. I had the thickest fillet steak wrapped in parma ham in a black truffle sauce that cut like butter melted in the mouth. We all had the classic Italian/French deserts; Tiramisu, Pavlova, Creme Brule I had a beautiful Pana Cotta with berries. Even the Pinot Grigio Rose was exceptionally full bodied lovely. And the staff came out sang Happy Birthday with a surprise treat. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Very poor. Me and my wife came for food as we were staying in the airport marriott. Very nice setting but that is were the good stops. We were seated and then left for 20 minutes before a waiter bothered asking if we wanted a drink. We ordered a large coke large lemonade, then sat back to read the large massively over priced menu. We sat and waited, and waited and another 30 mins went by. So decided to leave, and go get room service instead. We said we were going to go and asked to pay for the large coke an lemonade..... £22.68! Are you having a laugh? I asked bill be checked as they had added an extra lemonade on. They checked and gave it me back, £16.68! They left a service charge on! Cheeky bast Which I then told them to take off! So i finally got the correct bill.... £15! For 1 coke and 1 lemonade to sit there waiting for some service! What a disgrace. The guys on the table next to us had been waiting longer than us for some service. I am quite annoyed I paid tbh, should have just walked out. Poor service, poor staff and disgusting prices, even for an airport hotel restaurant! Last time we were here we went to the French restaurant and it was much better! Go there instead!

I have been to this establishment a quite a few times now and this is now my third experience of terrible service. I thought I would let them off the first time due to the Manager apologising and providing us with a free meal to return. I went last night for my birthday with my friends. It took the staff 30 minutes to come over and take our order, I had to wave the waiter down to come and take our order. Even when he took our order he seemed like he didn’t want to. The food was lovely and was relatively fast. But the plates did not get cleared away for another 30/40 minutes after we had eaten, we had to ask again for the waiter to come over and clear the table. Not once did we get asked if the food was nice or if we wanted more drinks. Every time we needed something we had to wave a member of staff down (staff were also ignoring us). It felt like it was a chore for the waiters to come over and serve us. Highly wouldn’t recommend this branch. The Manchester San Carlo service is much better and staff are much friendlier. Although the food was nice, the service did disappoint for a special occasion.

Family meal, food was OK, not worth the high price, place was full of uncontrolled children so the chaos creche is not somewhere we'll ever return to.
