Sip Wine - Old Saybrook

My girlfriends and I booked a weekend stay at the Saybrook Point and were looking for a cool local spot. We came across Sip Wine Bar (about a mile from the resort) and it was incredible!!! Amazing service, great chill atmosphere best charcuterie board we’ve ever had. Owner Derek is so personable and nice! We had the best time. Will absolutely come back! 100% recommend.

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I stopped for wine and apps for our anniversary. We chatted with the owner Derrik, and our server, Steve. They were very friendly and helpful. We told Steve which types of wines we like, and he put together flights for us, which were perfect. The cheeses there was amazing as well. I highly recommend the Delice de Bourgogne cheese that's nice and creamy. I really loved the little fruit crackers they came with. Can't wait to go back.

This was a great experience. The owner asked our little group what we liked and chose what he thought to be a good choice based on our answers. I can tell you for a fact he hit the nail the head with the choice for me. I am not a huge wine drinker, but the one he chose for me was the best I had ever had. Thank you. Can't wait to go back.

Great little wine bar in Old Saybrook. Nice selection of wines and small apps (little pricey). My only real complaint is that the AC is always too cold on both occasions. Staff is very attentive.
