Wow! This place is AMAZING and definitely trumps the competition! I got the Maple Latte and it was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, didn't taste like just milk and had the best coffee taste! I will definitely go back! I love that their syrups arehomemade! The staff was also very pleasant. View all feedback.
What Heather M doesn't like about Ashlawn Farm Coffee:
I wish I could rate them higher!! I cannot say enough good things about Ashlawn Coffee. The light roast hot coffee and snickerdoodle latte were incredible. They had a menu of seasonal latte options that all sounded amazing. We also had a jalapeñobagel with chive cream cheese and a bacon, egg and cheese on a cheddar chive biscuit. Everything was great. I will make a trip to the shore again just to come here!!
Teetering between 3 and 4 stars. Sad to report that the amazing, frenetic, warm, community centered atmosphere that was a massive draw in the days of manager Elvira and her power crew has disintegrated. This cafe used to be such a joy to spend timein good music, attention to detail in barista work, friendly customers and staff, immaculate dining area, consistency in theroasts. Now the apathy (or maybe unhappiness? of the employees and the palpably low energy walking into the cafe makes me lessinclined to come back regularly. I am sure covid among other circumstances has influenced this shift, but it 's disappointing tosee the ethos of one of Saybrook 's star small businesses declining. I 'm not sure there 's anything i could drop in the suggestionbox other than shake things up! It 's not too late to recover. Maybe the new deep river location is where the passionlanded
I?ve been going here for years and do love the iced coffee. However, it is so inconsistent. I have thrown away so many inedible coffees. It?s frustrating. I hope for more consistency so I can return. Even the bagged ground beans have been bad. My last bagwent into the garbage. It?s extremely frustrating to support a local business and get this in return.

This coffee shop is probably one of the best on the shoreline. Today I ordered an iced honey lavender latte, and my taste buds and brain activated in the best way? I felt my third eye open up. I can?t wait to go back and order another 10/10
