Chef Rick's is a great place to eat, especially in Santa Maria. It's quite quirky, and I've never been to another restaurant quite like it. They also have a good selection of vegan items, but my favorite is the vegan crab cake.

From the moment you walk in the service is excellent! The coconut shrimp was such a treat. We had not seen shrimp this large in a long time, cooked to perfection, and served with an awesome sauce. Then, the grilled chicken sandwich we had split was so unique. It 's hard to consider it in the category of a sandwich.. wow, the flavors, the textures. The broccoli slaw served here is something to try also. Of course, save room for the decadent desserts, Even the decaf coffee was rich with flavor. Chef Ricks is not only excellent food (some of the finest found) it 's an experience.

Oh come on! Best food in Santa Maria Orcutt. I don’t care what you order, it’s fresh and healthy and the chef is back there sprinkling in the love of craft. It’s got a New Orleans vibe, but all California cuisine.
