This is my new favorite place! Not only is Samurai exceptionally clean, the service is perfect, and the food is AMAZING! I’m obsessed with the age tofu and their miso soup. And they have a wide selection of vegan options which is always a plus! It’s a quiet relaxed and nice atmosphere, perfect for an afternoon lunch or a date night! View all feedback.
What Brandi Carter doesn't like about Samurai Sushi Grill:
We have been coming here for 6+ years and have never experienced what we experienced today. The seaweed in the rolls were unbearably chewy. When we asked the waitress if there was anything that could be done, we were told, “it’s the same, there’s nothing we can do.” This was the first time in 6+ years that we couldn’t/didn’t finish our food. I've been going to Samurai for a couple of years now, and every time we've dined here it's been a wonderful experience. The food is prepared expertly and tastes delicious. The waitress here is super friendly and always has great recommendations. We love the atmosphere and the restaurant is always in immaculate condition. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant and if you give it a try, I bet it'll be yours too!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to the sidewalk right next to the entrance
I placed an online order and I’m only leaving this review to help other people ordering online. The hand rolls are like sushi burritos, they’re not sliced rolls. It’s the first option for “rolls” when ordering online and it’s incredibly deceiving. I did take them back and purchased actual sushi rolls, the texture of the hand roll was strange and inconvenient but the sushi rolls were redemption enough for me to come back.

If you're gluten free (and even if you're not) and love sushi, RUN, don't walk to Samurai Sushi. They have a full gluten free menu but if that's not enough- they will custom make you a fresh gluten free dish, sure to explode with flavor. The service was also amazing, thanks to Miss Jenna and her above and beyond attention to detail (especially with an allergy). She wrote down exactly what they call this particular gluten free concoction and we cannot wait to go back.
For quality and price, Samurai Sushi is a GEM. Crab is imitation but the fish is good and they don't skimp. From the miso soup to the fried rice and hand rolls and hibachi, you cant get a better value in the city. Indoor dining atmosphere is pretty underwhelming but most everywhere is like that since COVID.The parking is a pain and very tight so be prepared for that
