We tried this place today and it was pretty cute. I loved all the plants everywhere! We got a pancake flight, which was great except for the pineapple one. The other two (banana and blueberry) were both so impressive but our pineapple one was literally just chopped fresh pineapples on a pancake. I asked my waiter (who was exceptional) to surprise me for my meal and he picked great! The weird hash browns are great and... View all feedback.
What Veloria H doesn't like about Hatch Early Mood Food:
We arrived at 10am today. Our meal didn't arrive until we kept asking about it. 11 ish. The waitress was kind enough. She said our order had been lost and asked what it was again. The manager-Summer visited with us. She was apologizing and sympathetic about the abandoned of service. The whole experience was a real adventure. She gave us a complimentMary meal. The management nailed it. We plan to return again to see h... View all feedback.
The service is wonderful, but the wait is ridiculous. I made reservations on Yelp, and they were lost, so make sure you double-check.
Biiiiig Hatch fan! I've been here a few times while visiting the OKC area. Wide menu selection of breakfast foods (a few lunch options too! . I've had a few things, but most recently had the tacos with a side of avocado and really enjoyed them! Friendly service where the staff works as a team to get things out quickly. Bright space that is clean. Will always go back to Hatch!
My friends and I picked Hatch because online it says they have gluten free options and two of the three of us cannot eat gluten without serious sickness and pain following. Our server was very accommodating and double checked with management before ringing in food to ensure it would be non contaminated. We ordered some gluten free pancakes. They were good, tasted like King Author brand which is nice and fluffy. They were less fancy than expected but still good.We had a delicious omelette that they made sure to cook in a different pan to prevent gluten contamination. We also had a burger. The bun looked delicious and both people who cannot have gluten consumed some of the burger. When we asked about the brand, post consumption, they realized that they gave us a normal gluten bun. Unfortunately those two people had autoimmune flare ups for the next two days. The manager came over and apologized and took care of a portion of our bill. They were super nice the whole time and we do understand that mistakes happen. It was nice to discount the meal which mostly afforded the emergency medicine we had to go to the store to purchase afterwards.Moral of the story: check and double it triple check that all your food is gluten free if you have an allergy or high intolerance. Otherwise the food was good, service was great, and the atmosphere was pretty nice for a busy Sunday.
So didn't give a full 5 stars on food due to my pancakes only had one that was really good which was the banana foster. The strawberry had cooked strawberries on it and that made them mushy and it was not good due to that, I also love walnuts but they were too big, they should chop them a little more. Other then that the potatoes balls, bacon, orange/pineapple and strawberries drink they made me by request, and I ordered a latte but it never came to the table however I wasn't charged for it either so I didn't say anything. Over all a good experience but not something I can't live without. Will return I'm sure one day.
Great breakfast, fresh, tasty, well prepared. But you are paying for the quality. It was busy but we got seated outside on the patio right away.Food: 5/5
