I've been here a few times and the food is always quite good. I'd recommend the ribs especially when they are on special as they are good value. This time I had the Lamb Shank with vegetables and mash ($20). Very tasty and lots of it and not too fatty. My friend decided to have the Rib Eye which was quite expensive ($39). He said it was perfect. The staff were attentive and helpful, the restaurant was busy but not to... View all feedback.

Pizza tasted like frozen based supermarket pizza with some added topping. Was advertised as wood oven! Other dishes ordered we average at best. Incredibly slow service. If you don't have a spare 1.5 hours give this place a miss. View all feedback.

We called ahead to be told there were no tables, we were left hanging on the phone for 5 minutes only to be told that they were busy and she thought that there no tables, but clearly the girl on the phone hadn't checked, we decided to pass by and amazingly there were tables??!! We ordered starters and mains and waited an hour then all of our food arrived together, starters and mains, the waitress offered to take it away - we complained that we wanted our starters first - how dare we ask for our starters first! We said we didn't want food left under the heater while we ate our starters, the waitress got stroppy and said it wasn't her fault and stomped off and returned with a refund that we hadn't requested - food was ok but ruined by the long wait and below average service, if this was my business I wouldn't want these petulant, rude 'kids' serving my customers.

Good quality pub food. My brother and I went for a sunday lunch. He had the wagyu steak - perfectly cooked- and i had the lamb roast of the day which was also really nice and great value for money.Dissapointed in the service, but that could be due to understaffing as there were only two or three people manning the dining area, bar and ordering counter, which seems ridiculous as it is a large restaurant and very busy sunday. Waited a good fifteen-twenty minutes between ordering and chasing down my drinks which were supposed to be brought over. Huge line at bar and was told quite briskly after inquiring after drinks that "we're a bit frazzled at the moment". Drinks arrived promptly and unapologetically afterwards. The food was exactly what you would expect for a nice pub lunch, waitstaff were stressed and understaffed but hopefully that's not the norm. Would recommend for a casual meal.
We ordered the Special, Battered baramundi with citrus and herbs salad and wedges. I ask if I could have mine grilled instead, yes no problems. When the meals arrived it was Baramundi - on mash with asparagus, broccolini a lovely cream wine sauce and with morton bay bugs.I was very happy. My husband who liked battered fish unimpressed. They returned it to the kitchen and battered his - still no wedges. They then bought wedged after we requested them and they were sweet potatoes. The dog loved them. Overall they tried very ahrd. They gave us a meal that was more expensive and one of us was very happy, the food was lovely.
