service was excellent, coworkers were helpful and nice to a new senior who could not use the app to order. the half of the ribs was only 3/4 ribs, very small serve for him, but beautiful meals. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Victoria:
Table of 7 and four of our meals hit mixed up and took 1hr. One was miss ordered and we was asked to pay the difference despite it being their mistakes. Food was good once received. Could tell the waitress was uncomfortable asking for the price difference after and hour wait and half way through eating the meal, extra price should have been waived for to wait period and their mistakes but we paid it View all feedback.
Whenever I eat, I get my favorite pamiagama. Today was not the standard it used to be. still quite edible, but not as good as before.
Our group go to the Victoria Hotel 3 to 4 times a year and have been doing so for a number of years. The food, service, ambience and prices are all very good. We book at least 4 weeks in advance and always request a particular table which is in an area less noisy than where we have been seated on the last 2 occasions. We will be making a booking for December and if we are unable to have the requested table we will consider whether we continue to meet there, which would be a shame since we have made it our place to go and enjoy all other aspects.
We come and have dinner almost every week. We usually have a good experience, but last night was horrible. We waited at the desk while the girl was looking at the laptop did not acknowledge us or say she wouldn't be long. We usually are walked to our table with a bottle of water, the girl just pointed to our table and no water was given. We ordered our meal to only have one meal come out as they forgot to put through my husbands so he sat there watching me eat my burnt chicken parmy. We waited 20min for his pizza and had to leave so asked to get it in a takeaway box. There were no apologies about not putting our order through properly, absolutely rude when asked we needed it takeaway as we waited almost 40 min for a meal. It wasn't even busy to justify. Think staff need more training in customer service.
The food was great and delivered quickly. The venue has a great outlook with easy parking. The stand out was the delightful and obliging staff. Been there several times and will go again.
Cheesy garlic bread was salty. Loud groups but good to hear people laughing. Husbands fish was very oily. Comfortable heating temperature which made the night enjoyable
