I met the Pope! Well the Pope of Ocean Shores anyway. I could taste the food in my DNA! We were there on St Paddy's Day, what a treat! Gotta have some Bangers and Mash but the lamb chops melted off the bone! Fun and Friendly! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Galway Bay Irish Pub, And Gift Shop:
I visited Galway Bay for the second time and, like my first visit, I was underwhelmed by the food. I had hoped that trying traditional Irish dishes would be a highlight, but the sausage in pastry was mediocre and the Colcannon side dish was bland and uninteresting. The cod dish was the biggest letdown as it seemed to lack any flavor or substance, with only celery and no sign of fish or potatoes. The restaurant has a... View all feedback.
Stopped in for lunch and had the lamb stew and Shepherds pie. Both were very good, especially the Shepherds pie. Also had a hard apple cider and Irish Red ale. The cider and ale were particularly nice! Great flavor for both. Also had the clamp chowder, which was a combination clamp and corn chowder. This was really good as well. All in all, a good lunch with plenty of leftovers.
We were on our Winter Vacation and went there for dinner and it was so amazing! We had the Limerick Sausage Roll and OMG delicious! so good had that I re-created it as soon as we got home! Service all around was amazing even got to tour the closed store and buy a souvenir and what a treat that was. our server was on point! he was so attentive, friendly with a great sense of humor! will definately visit again.
We had a great time here. The service was very friendly. The space is huge and is divided by a classic Irish pub and a larger kid friendly eating area. We were there on a Friday and there was a piano player which was a nice surprise. I appreciated that it was open late, we were there in the off-season. We would definitely go there again, I noticed they have breakfast and would love to try it.
I visited Galway pub this weekend with a group of seven. The food was very good. My Irish stew was hearty and delicious, I love the mashed potatoes inside. My other favorites were the Shepard pie and corned beef hash sandwich. The building is huge and I loved the live music. Make sure to che k out the gift shop they have a huge selection of goods to choose from!
One of the most unique restaurants and pubs in Washington State. You can find something new every time you go there. Most of all, they have more live music, and generally good, then any other place around. For RV retirees like us, having live music in the late afternoon (Happy Hour) even brought us away from the beach on a nice day. We make the effort to come here every summer, and this time, visited Galway Bay 3 times in one week.
