Assateague Grill - Ocean City

Waited an hour without contact from the only waiter. very rude to ask for a drink three times until he came. the food was left on the counter for just ten minutes before it was finally brought. the eating was under average, chicken and waffel had hardly tasted and the chicken was not roasted as usual, was a kind of chicken. many other patrons around us said the same, and close to leaving without eating. incredibly slow service, waiter would disappear for ten minutes to a time. would not come back, would not recommend.

The restaurant is clean and had a wonderful meal with my team.

We stumbled upon this wonderful little diner because the Taco place we were looking for was closed for relocation. We arrived at around 5pm on NYE. Jess was behind the bar, and we loved her! She was friendly, professional and pleasant, despite having to work on New Year's Eve. We had a few drinks (happy hour has GREAT drink specials) while waiting for our take out. We even stayed for an extra drink after our food arrived.I ordered the Dagwood sandwich with the special sauce. Absolutely fantastic. So much meat I couldn't fit it my mouth. The best 12 bucks I have spent in a long, long time.If you're heading into Ocean City, you HAVE to stop into this place. You will not regret it

Very slow service. Fish sandwich was very bland. They didn't have tarter sauce so I asked for mayo. Then asked for pickles and THEN they found some tarter sauce. Looks like and tasted like they just made it out of mayo pickles like I was was gonna do!. Husband's burger sat under the heat lamp, if there was a heat lamp, for over 5 minutes. Burger was DONE, not medium. His fries were very over fried. Then my fries came and they were perfect. My diet coke was the best thing I had. Don't waste your time or money here. ?

Ok to be honest we were heading to another location for breakfast, an hour wait, so got back on the bikes and came across this place and said let's give it a try. Only one other table in the place and we're a little nervous...but the food was good, good portions, the waitress was good and our bikes must have been seen as they quickly filled up and were turning people away, as they were short staffed.
