Honest assessment... when they brought my sandwich to my table, my first thought was “wow this is big” but then I opened it and saw that the meat was stacked in the middle and there was a lot of bread. The Cuban sandwich was decent. Not the best, but it wasn't the worst. The Pommes were good. Complementary fried plantains were good. We just stopped at noon after the retreat to the area and were so excited to have found such amazing Cuban food! Great depth of taste and friendly service!
Amazing food and a great waitress who helped us Mexicans with the menu items. I recommend the lechón pork) plate with one side mixed rice beans fried sweet curtains Maduro). Excellent! And I almost forgot, I enjoyed one after the food café de leche I think that is as it is called), it is like a latte. Thank you. Isis for waiting for us and for hospitality. Your mother is a great cook.
So glad we stumbled over this Cuban restaurant in Ocala, Florida! We ordered färsen and crab cake (on site – today special), Mariquitas, Friituras de malanga, Tequeños, seafood plated and Cuban coffee. We were pleased that she made Cuban coffee stronger on request (where one of us chose traditional Cuban coffee (cafe con leche). The food was excellent — fresh with robust flavors! The sauces were also amazing — the Zilantro sauce was our favorite, but we all tried their sauces! You need to try all their sauces during your visit as they complement the food very well. Excellent and fast service – the staff was professional, friendly, friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. It is a family-run business and the taste of Cuban cuisine was authentic! We will be back to taste their deserts such as Tres Leches, Flan de Coco, and their shakes in different flavors such as soursop, passion fruit and many other tropical flavors.
We decided to stop by here for an early lunch. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. Inside was clean and open seating, very bright. Cortadito was great too. The tamal was like an inside-out tamal with only masa and all the filling outside, but still tasty. Each dish was a lot of food, worth the price. Took a cuban sandwich to go, that was great too, you could tell everything was made fresh. Definitely plan on returning.
