What Nathalie BURVENICH doesn't like about Auberge De Morimont:
Ruins of bucolic castle in limestone. Some explanatory panels on the location and history of the place. Small circular visit quite difficult to access. Parking in work. This remains a very nice place to visit View all feedback.
Helping my friends plan their wedding at Le Morimont was the most wonderful experience ever!! Églantine and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Despite the engaged couple being in another continent throughout the planning process, Églantine and her team made their dream wedding a reality! Most of us guests didn't speak French but that was not an issue. Églantine and many of the staff spoke English. They replied promptly to emails and were helpful at all the stages of the planning and also during the wedding. The flowers are grown at Le Morimont and Églantine did an amazing job at creating a beautiful bouquet for the bride and a stunning job with all the decorations, The wedding ceremony was held outside under the trees and was nothing short of spectacular. The land surrounding Le Morimont is simply breathtaking. It is the ideal place to go to for some peace and quiet even for just a weekend trip. It would also be a great place for a small company retreat. The barn was perfect for the dinner and could be modified to fit 100+ guests. There is a beautiful photo booth area and a lovely bar that can be set up to cater the wishes of the couple. The area right outside the barn is perfect to sit and chat to people during the day in the shade or at night under the stars. There is a long cellar under the barn which we used to host the bachelorette party. With lighting and decoration it is a beautiful space where you can forget about the rest of the world for a moment. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are well designed. You will feel at ease and well rested in the rooms at Le Morimont. Breakfast was always delicious with a wide range of options to chose from. For lunch and dinner, we went out or brought food back on the days before the wedding. There is parking space for anyone who comes with a private car. For a wedding, you can talk to Églantine about transportation options for the guests if it is a big wedding. Églantine can help you with finding catering, music, a beautician and anything else you might need. Guilhem is a brilliant photographer and a wonderful person who will also be there to answer your questions. His candid photography captured so many beautiful moments. The drive to Le Morimont is through the beautiful French countryside. You will reach the venue feeling relaxed already. Would highly recommend Le Morimont to anyone hoping to have an intimate wedding ceremony with a few guests or even for those who would like a bigger wedding as well!!
A fantastic location for weddings. Team makes almost everything possible.
Country and cozy space. Ruins, flower planting and hiking around.
Great weekend at Morimont. The hosts take great care. The environment is magnificent
Beautiful place with the ruins of the castle next to it. On January 1st, the establishment was closed.
