Elim Cafe Oatley

Oh well, have a treat and visit Andre & Martha at Elim Cafe for superb food to beat anything offered anywhere else in Oatley.

Their baked beans are a good reason to go there. Served with the vegetarian breakfast, they are delicious. I've even popped in just to get a container of their baked beans.

We have had dinner a couple of times and the food has always been fantastic. It is a small venue and the food is basically cooked in front of you. The ingredients are fresh and the menu great. This is one of our favourite local café / restaurants.

Elim Café is located in a courtyard with a tranquil and relaxed ambience.The owners were very welcoming, and provided attentive and caring service. There was no rush, drama or stress in their rhythm. Elim serves single-origin coffee beans, sourced from Tana Toraja in Sulawesi Island, making an aromatic and rich cup of coffee. No bitterness or acidity in the aftertaste. Just perfect!I tried the fruit/nut loaf and enjoyed it. Next time, I will venture into their brekkie menu. I also noticed they had nasi goreng (fried rice) on the menu, which was one of my favorite brunch dishes whilst living in Asia. Overall, I could spend hours reading a book and sipping the coffee here. Don't miss it!

This Oatley cafe is great for brekkie or lunch, but opens only on a Saturday night for dinner and the food is amazing. The standard of food is consistently top class and well worth a try. We try to go as often as possible, and many friends who have accompanied us have also raved about the food.
