Lone Star Texas Grill - Oakville

We went to Lone Star for dinner because we always loved it. This trip was different. Our waitress just didnt seem to care. I had to repeat my drink order several times before she understood what i wanted. Then when i got it, some of it spilled on the table, she didnt wipe it down. We Didn't get chips and salsa. No one from her section got chips and salsa but others did in the restaurant. Our meals finally came, we tried new menu items which were good but she didnt check up on us until we were almost done. We didnt want dessert...We just paid for the bill and left. The waitress needs a refresher on Service.

We stopped here early this month as it was just off the highway403 on our way home after a trip. We hadn't been to a Lone Star since a poor experience in another town several years ago but decided to try it. The location was not busy and we were greeted promptly and both ordered fajitas, one beef and one chicken. Soft drinks came quickly and the food came shortly after. It was hot, cooked properly and we enjoyed the fajitas. Our only notice was no one came back and suggested soft drink refills.

Lonestar has always been one of my however my recent visit there found the service lacking. We were seated for 20 minutes before someone came to take our drink order we waited another 45 minutes for the meal to be served. When we arrive the tables were all dirty and the restaurant was empty and there were many staff standing at the front desk. Guest arrived after us and then left because they hadn't been served and then no one was at the front desk to see them leave. I don't even think they remembered they walked in and had been seated.

"Banjo" did a great job serving us on the patio, always made sure we had cold drinks in hand. Food was great, we enjoyed the bbq bacon burger and chicken fajitas. We will be back soon for sure.

Wonderful restaurant and service. Had the steak 11 oz with potato fully loaded and wedges along with season vegetables. The food was the best I have had, the service was great.
