Foodie Love - Oakville

Came here on a whim, looking for some decent food at a good price. This place went above and beyond. I ordered the lamb-rosia pita with pomegranate. It was huge, the lamb was cooked just right and the flavours worked together perfectly (the sweetness of the pomegranate and caramelized onion contrasting with the lamb and feta). The woman behind the counter was very nice, easy to talk to, and was enthusiastic about the food. Definitely worth the price and I will be recommending this place to my friends. I would not usually write a review but this place took me by surprise and the world needs to know.

As a Greek person, it is hard to find a good Greek restaurant with authentic food. I have tried numerous restaurants from Hamilton to Etobicoke and this is by far my favourite. The Spanakoptia is one of my favourites along with any of their Pita’s and bifteki. The bowls are also one of my family’s favourite it’s definitely our top spot!!

The mains were fantastic! Loved the gyros and the souvlaki. Cooked and seasoned beautifully. The duo dip is where we were let down. First, the quantity made me feel ripped off. $15 for a few pitas and 2 small dips, was pretty disappointing considering there was no option to get tzatziki on the side. The spicy feta dip is unlike anything I've ever had, but not in a good way.

Wonderful and fresh food. I’ve had chicken kabab, halwa puri breakfast shawarma salad and the most authentic haleem in GTA. Portions are generous and price is just right. Excellent joint.

Absolutely exceptional!Ordered from here twice and both times it was fantastic. Just this evening I had the Kleftiko and my wife had the lamb souvlaki...the meat was no doubt the star of the show, however what sets this place apart is every single accompaniment is incredible. The rice, lemon potatoes and salad were all amazing...even on the pita you could taste the coals and smokiness.Our go to takeout spot for lamb now...definitely worth a try. Believe all the amazing reviews!
