Jj Fish Chicken Oakland Int'l

We just went to get JJ 's and it didn 't disappoint, except for the mac n cheese. I ordered chicken wings and shrimp with a side of mac n cheese, and my gf ordered hot wings. The wings and shrimp I ordered were hot, crispy, juicy, and awesome! 'The hot wings weren 't crispy, but a little soggy; the fries were killer! ' is what my gf said about her meal, but she wouldn 't order it again. I 've never ordered the hot wings here because the original flavor is amazing. Now to the mac n cheese... It tasted like it had lemon zest mixed into the cheese, which made it more tangy than anything else. It was kinda runny and wasn 't really good. I took a couple of bites and she took one before we both agreed that the mac n cheese was better in the trash than in our mouths. I won 't be ordering that mac n cheese again anytime ever... Overall, the food was fast, delicious (except the m&c), and flavorful as always and I 'll definitely be back to visit this location next time I 'm in town.

Food is fantastic, staff is great. I come here a few times/month. There's alot of homeless around the area always asking for money, the staff does a pretty good job about keeping them off the premises.

Food was outstanding service was great. The portions were outstanding more than enough to feed two people. I had the catfish nuggets with fries I got the large. As I stated above it was more than enough for 2 people possibly 3. Not only would I go there again I'd tell my friends about it as well. That picture is my leftovers after eating about 1/3 of it.

Great food. It is made to order so it was piping hot. The season was perfect on my fish and the shrimp were battered and fried just right. I had mine crispy. My husband had the wings and tore them up. The chicken breast were juicy and flavorful. A lot of food for the price. It was our first time here and we definitely be back when we visit Oakland.

Great menu selection if not a wee bit confusing. I had the shrimp basket witha piece of cod and fries. Everything was made perfect and I loved the crunchy cornmeal coating on the fish. They missed a star because their bathroom was out of order and how can you NOT wash your hands after such a meal?
