Horn Barbecue deserves every award it has won, and the crazy wait to order food is justified. It's a barbecue lover's heaven. Pulled pork (5 out of 5): Tender, succulent pulled pork that's best eaten with BBQ sauce drizzled on top. This dishreminds me of Hawaiian Kahlua pig, but even more juicy if you can believe it. What User doesn't like about Horn Barbecue:
To start with, this is a good place to get barbecue. My rating is lower because of the investment you have to make to get the food. I had the brisket sandwich and a small side of Mac n cheese. Massive outdoor seating, great for groups! Really enjoyed the spicy BBQ sauce (comes on the side). All the meat was flavorful and the beef short rib(not on the menu) was juicy and tender. Recommend if you're looking for a solid bbq joint.First time and would come back again(4 cuz I wanna come back again). 1/2 per person(of any meat) was sufficient.
Not a bad place for some decent BBQ. However, it's not nearly as good and as special as their prices might suggest. For 50 bucks per beef rib and 12 bucks for each side, this place is not worth the detour to its remote industrial yard location.

My friend has been telling me to come here for over two years. Finally did it today. Easily the best BBQ I've had on the West Coast.Horn holds it's own against some of the best places I've been to after living over two decades in Texas.Brisket sandwich was great. Mac N Cheese was fantastic!Pretty much street parking only. Like most things Oakland or SF... make sure ALL belongings are out of your car!
It may be expensive but this barbeque is damn good. Like too good. I haven't been disappointed by anything I've had from here. Get the brisket!
