Dutch's At Silver Tree - Oakland

We were lucky enough to stay at the Silver Tree Suites, connected to this yummy restaurant. We ate here twice and both times were very good. The French Onion soup is delicious! My son had the kids Mac and Cheese which was also excellent. Today my husband had the crab tacos and loved them. They have a play area for kids to hang out while parents sit back and relax. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return during our next trip.

The playground and outside area is phenomenal. Great place for kids and adults! Service was stellar and the food was delicious but ok.

Food was tasty. Open patio was nice to dine by the lake. Waitress was sweet

The Food is Amazing! When you see the food prices on the menu, you might have sticker shock, but the portions are extremely large even when ordering from the smaller portions section of the menu. The drinks in the drink menu are reasonably priced, and they offer seasonal summer delights. The food is presented very well, served hot and fast even though they are extremely busy. The flavors, textures, and options of food are absolutely delicious. The view of the Lake can be seen from almost every seat. The service is impeccable also. Highly recommend. The only small drawback that I noticed is that the ladies' restroom is extremely small, with only 2 stalls for such a very large indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar.

Overall good experience but the older lady hostessing on the back patio was SO rude. We had a reservation for 7 and she incorrectly had 6 and couldn’t have been ruder about it. For how expensive of an establishment it was, I was shocked. On the positive side, our meal was delicious and my husband and I loved the champagne. We split the seafood platter and it was incredible! Food was really impressive. Service was slow but our server made up for it by getting us an anniversary dessert on the house which was really sweet of her! Really nice view and would definitely go back (just get a new hostess ?
