Day trip this is the place to go. The combo pizza was delicious, the crust wasn't too thick or too thin but crunchy. Oh and the salad bar was awesome, fresh veggies, lettuce was crisp. Over all I love going to Oakhurst and having pizza here. View all feedback.
What dom scarola doesn't like about Me N Ed's Pizzeria:
I ordered through DoorDash which wasn’t a problem. Unfortunately the dasher brought the pizza to the wrong hotel. Luckily with the help of the Hampton Inn desk personnel I was able to get the dasher and he retrieved the pizza. Unluckily the pizza was awful. Very thick crust (I’m fairly certain I ordered thin crust) and the cheese was so thick it was virtually inedible. View all feedback.
Owner responded to my one star review (left when very annoyed) so I figured I'd give some constructive criticism and adjust to 3 stars (more fair). So here's what happened. I ordered pizza. I did not know I had to pay for ranch so I didn't order ranch. Guy brings pizza to the table after a fairly lengthy wait (fine since pizzas are made to order but the duration of the wait is an important piece of context) and I ask for a side of ranch. He tells me I have to pay for ranch and walks away. As he's walking away I ask if I can just give him some cash for ranch and he ignores me. At this point, there's a long line for the register so I have to choose between standing in line to pay for ranch or eating my pizza without ranch. This may sound like a non-problem and, in the grand scheme of things, it is, but here I am writing a paragraph on Google reviews so we're way beyond that already. So anyway, I friggin love ranch on pizza. Like a 5 star pizza with ranch becomes a 3 star pizza if ranch isn't available. And Im happy to pay for ranch but I don't want to wait in line while my pizza gets cold! Most pizza places just build the cost of the ranch into the pizza and give ranch out for free to avoid this issue. Also the crust is just OK in my opinion.
I recommend ordering 3 business days in advance if you want to eat here. Sat down and the restaurant was practically empty, had to remind staff THREE times: where is our pizza? How much longer will it take? Absurd wait of 45 minutes in an empty restaurant and staff looked like they didn’t care one bit and had no intention of helping. Told multiple times, just one minute, it’s coming out, but had to wait way way longer. It took over 30 minutes just for the salad to come out and the Garlic bread came after our entire meal of pizzas. And then a second garlic bread came out after we ate the first one because apparently the first wasn’t actually the right bread. What a disaster. When reminding the staff multiple times for the garlic bread, one employee remarked that she thought it came out with the salad. What?? No communication skills between any staff. Overall terrible experience don’t recommend visiting. I saw many other people waiting way too long for their pizzas too. Pizza was mediocre at best. Avoid
They were a little short staffed, but the staff that was working were working hard. Pizza was good and service was excellent.
