Long John Silver's - Oak Ridge

Faster, friendly service. I messed up my order and had to start completely new. the young man who took the order was extremely polite. some cashiers act as if they take too much time. not he, you think I'm the only person in the load.

Some of the areas best seafood. All orders are cooked to order. Very fast preparation and delivery. Facility is ADA compliant. From observations, restrooms mar require upgrading to meet ADA standards. Service personnel are well mannered and all help has clean and pressed uniforms. Restaurant and grounds well kept and maintained. All food items are well prepared and prices are very reasonable. Many side orders are available.

The workers were very sweet and attentive to us! especially for it to be fast food restaurant. It was me and 2 of my elderly grandparents. They accommodated us very well! They even made lightly breaded hush puppies for them since they can not chew their food well.

The employees are really nice! The food greasy as usual with any Long Johns. The decor could really use some updating. Sat down at the the booth was scooting in and got a handful of what I assumed was old caked on grease. Not a very busy place but like I said the employees were really really nice!!

Wait was fairly long for fast food. I got the boiled cod and shrimp. It was served over rice. The sides were green beans and Cole slaw. The cod and shrimp were very bland with little taste. The green beans were good. They had garlic or onions mixed in with them. The coleslaw was very good. Next time I will try the fried platter and see if there's any flavor. The price was around 15.00. Pretty high for how it tasted.
