Being a tea lover it very rarely happens I crave for coffee . But when I want I want the best one. I thought of trying this place for a latte and server suggested I try the offer “ Warm delight “ which had a small coffee with a classic size roll . Service was also quite prompt and friendly.
World famous Seattle’s best coffee is a familiar spot for many. Their freshly brewed coffee and baked goodies have been my favorite for years. I was invited to try out their newly launched light meals menu and I must say it’s definitely worth a try!. Giving middle eastern touch to the menu is the zaater lebneh dip beetroot hummus. Both of them are great to go snacks and not to forget how healthy they are. They do have soups and salads which are great for light lunch. My greek salad was a really hearty portion and love the dressing with it. SBC has also introduced wide range of reasonably priced wraps, I went for the veggie wrap and my guest opted for halloumi pesto sandwich. Clear winner from the two would be the latter one as it was moist and perfect! We would have loved it more if it were in multigrain bread.
So imagine our shock and surprise (all pleasant) when we went for a tasting of Seattle’s Best Coffee (SBC)’s new menu and discovered that we were actually at a triple tasting; what we mean is that we got to try not just SBC but Cinnabon and Carvel’s ice cream too! Neither SBC nor Cinnabon are new to Dubai but they have definitely established themselves among the crowd. We visited the Festival City Branch and nestled in a cozy corner across Ikea, the combination of restaurants present the perfect coffee shop vibe rife with comfortable seating, delicious aromas and bright smiles. Here is everything we had at our tasting:
There's no better way than to start a weekend morning with some great coffee and a good breakfast. This is definitely the place where you could enjoy all of this. The newly introduced food menu has some varied options from salads to sandwiches and some popular dishes from the Arabian cuisine. If it for their coffees and hot chocolate only, I would rate this place over a 4 ! It's easy to locate this place and there is ample seating. The staff are friendly and cheerful. We were here one weekend morning and tried a few dishes from the menu. To start with, we called for a Authentic Greek Salad and a Classic Labneh and Zaatar. I should say that the greens in the salad were very fresh and went very well with feta and the sauce. The Labneh and Zaatar dip is served with bread crisps and is a great snack on the go as well. We then tried a Traditional Chicken Musakhan and a Pesto Halloumi sandwich. I was a tad bit disappointed with the chicken musakhan as the chicken was a bit bland and dry however the Pesto Halloumi sandwich compensated for it. The sandwich was very good and was served with crisps. We had a Chocolate muffin, a Macchiato and a Hot Chocolate to end the meal. I would definitely go back for the coffees and the hot chocolate as they were fab.
My favourite place for a quick bite and a perfectly brewed coffee with creamy, chocolaty cinnabon is @sbcuae. @sbcuae is not my recent favourite, i have been visiting this restaurant since me and my husband first met. All our dates used to end on a sweet note at @sbcuae our coffee mornings with breakfast started ryt their. But, yes, their new menu is definitely our new favourite again ! Their new includes: Savoury Tauk: Chicken Tikka sandwich in a wrap with lettuce and homemade sauce for Aed 20. The flavour is incredible and the chicken is nice tender. Gourmet Philly Steak Aed 33): A meat lovers true love. A big flavourful steak sandwich that you can feel good about eating. Turkey Cheese Sandwich: This is my all time favourite combo. Simple with immense flavour. Its an appetizing and palatable sandwich. P.S. All the sandwiches are best complimented with their crisped chips that are hand cooked hunters chips and a drink on the side. For salad we opted for the Lentil Farm salad and honestly it wasn't my favourite. I thought of giving something new a try but maybe i am more like a chicken Caesar salad type. The lentil salad was made of alot of black lentils on the base of spinach and served with Balsamic sauce Aed 22). For Sides, do try out their Beetroot hummus which is new and flavourful. Not everyone can master the perfection of a different flavoured hummus. When at Seattle's, you've gotta end your meal with cinnabon roll from @cinnabonuae. On special request and only for us they gave us mini 6 pack with different flavoured cinnabons. From Seattles menu you should try out their Berries Cream, which includes fresh berries topped with a layer of sweet cream. It was delightful. AED 21) From Carvel menu do give their ice creams a try as they are creamy and flavourful. And ofcourse! You have gotta try their cold and hot cup of coffee as per your liking. However, mt recommendation would be their Caramel Latte. .............................................................. Price: Presentation: Taste: Value For Money: Ambience: . .
