It could help to reserve a table at this deserved popular place. A striking corner building with bright and airy interior and high ceilings. They offer a “plank” for almost 14 euros, especially good if you are in a hurry, as all your meal comes... at the same time. No sign of an actual plank, but a serving plate with a stew of either fish (surface) or chicken, a decent salad with many raw red cabbage, which is a beautiful change and a desert of blanc with a red fruit koulis. A very beautiful 50cl Pichet of Red and we were very quickly served by a beautiful madame, which is very smiling and helpful. Very close to the main road to Nantes and good to find.
The food here is very traditional, very French and very good. However, we went to the restaurant on the French Mother's Day (unknown to us before we booked) and it was full, but there was only one lady who served all the tables. We were the only ones who fed at 12 noon, so it was okay, but when Desserts came, we had to wait 20 minutes to give her our orders, then another 20 to receive them.
I've been going to this place with my family for years. The food is always delicious and the choice is excellent. Service is very friendly. Very recommended.
A few minutes from the dual carriage Pleasant Decor and charming front of the hostess Good menu with sufficient choices Terrine of the Venison, foie gras for deer chicken in cream sauce, cut duck in spices or tangenins of the duck were perfectly cooked and more...than abundant helps excellent value and we go again the next time when we pass
Running late on a cold miserable lunchtime, I saw this restaurant close to the road with a parking space close by so pulled up and walked in without even looking at the carte outside and certainly with no expectations. Clean and attractively appointed and a...warm welcome, things started to look up I had the plat du jour pièce du boucher sliced chicken thigh in a super sauce ,sauted new potatoes and an excellent salad, cost 13.80 euros. On this years annual trip to France I had some excellent meals however this was the pick of them all, absolutely first class
