I have ordered takeout from this restaurant several times, and the food quality is outstanding. When I brought my father here once, he commented that it was the best Thai food he had ever tasted outside of Thailand, which is high praise coming from him. The prices are a bit higher than typical takeout restaurants, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. I have not dined in at the restaurant yet, but based on t... View all feedback.
What MetalMass doesn't like about Amazing Thai Cafe:
We ordered takeout from this restaurant and were extremely disappointed. The minced pork dish we ordered was not minced and very greasy, completely different from what was advertised. The Thai wings were badly fried, greasy, cold, and did not resemble what was advertised at all. The chicken satay skewers were clearly frozen and reheated, resulting in a gooey and disgusting texture. Overall, our experience was awful a... View all feedback.
In the last year a few times have been here and was very impressed by the food. although it took a while to be served, but it really is worth waiting. I really recommend the green curry. it tasted the best here.
The ambiente of the restaurant was good. with dimmed lights and beautiful sofa seats (for our table,) it was for us a romantic dinner (above the rain) that was intended for the restaurant nowhere near impressive (we had to go down a long flight of steps), but the waitress that served our table was polite and friendly. the standard of food in general was above average and would definitely be worth another visit, should we fall back from nottingham!
The food is very nice, and i enjoyed every bit of it. if i could, i would definitely go there a lot more often.
We had lunch at this cozy restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, but be warned, some dishes are extremely spicy.
We regularly come to this quiet little corner shop. Hidden on the back streets of Dunkirk, it really isn 't somewhere you just come across and so the customers are all regulars (of sorts). The food is all freshly cooked by a ridiculously hard working couple and is delicious. There are two options, one go a la carte where around three to four main courses with some rice will sort a good group of four people (tamarind duck and the beef thai green curry are awesome) or go for the all-you-can-eat BBQ option. The BBQ is an indoor hotplate where you get given as much raw beef chicken seafood as you want and you cook this with a touch of butter and then have it with an assortment of dips. A bit different from the norm and good fun with some friends. It also comes with a steam boat style hot pot where you can boil the meats and veg if you don 't fancy the bbq versions. Several broths are available, the Tom Yam is spicy but good, I would recommend the Suki soup myself for those that like something a touch milder. The BBQ version will also include a few a la carte options too! All amazing value for money as well. Wonderful place, the service can be smidge slow though as they are short staffed and I would advise collecting rather than delivery if you 're planning on a takeaway.
