We had the pleasure to eat the best pizza we ever had. During our holiday in Noto we decide to have a relaxing and fresh walk in San Corrado and we stopped at La pineta. great place and good service...and of course a real tasty italian pizza! View all feedback.
What Tommy Lu doesn't like about La Pineta Noto:
Very bad reception from the elderly gentleman sitting at the entrance. I don't know! Maybe I pulled him out of his nap... he looked at me like he'd never seen a customer almost asking me what I was doing there. It was 21:30 and I ask if I can have dinner. He answers me as if it were obvious that he has no place. I look around and half the pizzeria is empty. I point it out to him and he tells me there are reservations... View all feedback.
We lived in a villa nearby and had take away from this pizzaria twice. The pizzas are really good and delicious and prices are low. We bought 7 pizzas for 40 euros and as a dane that is mindblowing compared to the quality. We would recommend anybody who lives in the nearby Villa Carolina to get pizzas from here.
Tucked away off the main route in San Corrado, north of Noto, is this not untypical Sicilian family run restaurant, which we've used a number of times. Friendly reception, service okay though once or twice a touch slow, and interior what I suppose you'd call functional. Although they are quite pizza orientated (including take-away service from 20;00), there are other dishes on offer, eg risotto. Prices average for the area. Plenty of parking in the little piazza. Advisable to book Friday/Saturday even out of season. Closed Mondays.
Delicious pizza, fragrant and digestible... excellent toppings, everything was wonderful. Very kind owner and very familiar environment, well-kept and very clean. We highly recommend trying everything not just the pizza. We will definitely be back!!!

Now I don't know about the week and at that time what habits the locals have but it seemed to me that he didn't want to let me sit down. So he concerns me and asks me if I'm alone... I answer that it doesn't matter, I thank and I go away... was the pizza good? The gentlemen who had booked the whole pizzeria will tell us.
The pizzeria is located in a beautiful corner of San Corrado FM. It is a family-run pizzeria and has a lot of flaws in terms of services. Only one waiter to manage an entire room. But the pizza is really good. If you don't have too many expectations and want to eat an excellent pizza in a quiet area, it's top!
