A nice experience for the palate. lovely place, refined dishes, presented with professionalism. professional and attentive staff. restaurant of a certain level, and in the area there are no restaurants of this type, so highly recommended. the scents of the garden are a beautiful contour. We came from a bad experience, but we were pampered in the right way. We'll be back.
I add this review to the one already made for the hotel Scilla maris that hosts the restaurant Datterino. The evaluation is absolutely positive also in this case, making perfect the union between the two structures. First, I think it is essential to point out the absolute pleasantness of the place, most of all in the crowded lime of Augustine known and surroundings. Here, 10 minutes from the city center, there is an oasis of peace and relaxation in a lovely garden, also able to offer a fresh shelter to the summer heat. We had dinner at the date for two nights with a personalized menu suggested on our request in combination with the madam, owner of the ski resort maris where we were guests, and the chef.We confirm that the expectations were also exceeded. All the many tried courses have proved to be of exceptional quality, on all a delicious parmigiana of eggplants, pasta to the norm and, personally, a roasted octopus on cream of chickpeas of a rarely tried goto. In both dinners we requested a combination with local wines that have fully satisfied us. Room service (the same as breakfast at the maris ski) is absolutely perfect, with the right mix between attention, eloquium, professionalism and dynamism. Also interesting are the explanations of the sommelier at the second dinner. If I add that the price (proposed before dinner) was 40 euros per head all inclusive (three courses sweeter, amiuse bouche, wine, water, bread in abundance,) the suggestion is: not to be missed. Bonus: the usual ubiquitous Roma cat who will not be able to make you smile with its blaze.
