We stayed down in this hotel while visiting the Telluride area. It is about a 50 minute drive from downtown telluride if you are visiting. Its a cute family run hotel that has easy parking around the side and the back. There is also a patio available for customers that was nice during the summer because it is well shadded and a grill on the porch that customers can use as well. We enjoyed our stay and would come here... View all feedback.

Excellent hotel. The new building is great! Clean well appointed rooms. The bathroom in our room had a heated floor. Highly recommended!
I loved this hotel, the owners were so friendly and kind. I stayed at Hotel Norwood for one night in the early days of my five month road trip in America from the UK. As I reluctantly made my way back to Denver at the end of my wonderful holiday I was determined to stay at this hotel again. I was not disappointed. Once again the owners were so friendly and helpful. I stayed several days, I really felt at home there. Norwood is enchanting and the surrounding area is beautiful. I generally stayed at chain motels but looked for independent lodging when I could. For me, as a solo traveller Hotel Norwood was just what I wanted. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped room at a reasonable price and a great base to see beautiful Colorado.
We did blow through one night here on our way out of expensive Telluride heading home via Grand Junction and were given a room in the newer building (beige) that was set up for handicap. It was really clean and the bathroom was super roomy. Nice king bed and bedding and the price was right. Cute tiny tiny town with a cute cafe across the street and a few other eateries. 3 star hotel. Not a resort, but if you need a short stay and not interested in an overpriced continental breakfast.... Would stay again.
We just happened upon this property on our way from Montrose in a September rain. We reached Norwood, saw their light, stopped and booked a very nice King room. If it wasn't raining, they have nice patio areas for sitting with umbrellas. Grocery store and food nearby. Perfect for us; non-chain hotel.
