What PhilWilkinsonCrammy doesn't like about Lal Qila:
Normally sit in but with COVID had the takeaway, delivered. 40 mins late, Food cold, Onion Bhaji undercooked, all purées breads were cold, hard and generally terrible. Veg Bhuna a tasteless bizarre concoction Totally underwhelming and from a Restaraunt I rave about and visit regular... View all feedback.
I have never had a bad meal at this beautiful restaurant. The food is always tasty and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the lamb chops and mixed peshwar for starters, and the salmon for something a bit different. The garlic keema nan is also a must-try. This is the best Indian restaurant around!
Fantastic as always! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even when there was a mix-up with our orders. I ended up with my husband's dish, but they quickly rectified the mistake. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The coffee and atmosphere were also great. We will definitely be back!
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was top-notch and elegant. Even though it was busy, the service was not rushed. I enjoyed a pint of Kingfisher beer with my meal, which was delicious. The only downside was that it was just me and my companion, so the noise level was a bit loud for a quiet meal.
Fantastic eating, lots of service, very friendly staff. our popular Indian restaurant and also the best we have been here for over 20 years, I would highly recommend it.
Long time customer food and staff always fantastic well worth 5 stars and a top place to dine in the Northeast.
