I took my family to Enzo's Cucina to celebrate my wife's birthday knowing that my fussy eater loved pasta and pizza. The restaurant is very spacious and light though the table tops are a little lumpy due to their rough sawn timber surface. The service was fast and friendly and dinner arrived reasonably quickly. The pizza was classic Italian with plenty of sauce and cheese. Both my wife's meal and mine were very well... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Enzo's Cucina:
Ordered takeaway for daughters birthday. Had 2 pasta dishes, risotto and pizza. I have had excellent reports of food but what we received was so bland, it was ridiculous. I don't know whether there was some problem that night, but it was a total waste of money. No seasoning, no flavour. Pizza was passable but lukewarm and we had 5 minutes to travel so should have been hotter. As i said, lots of reports on good food o... View all feedback.
Devon on pizza: that is the pits! Never before have I been served Devon as an ingredient on pizza. That is not an Italian ingredient. Very noisy surrounding makes it difficult to talk to someone next to you. The ingredients in the mixed seafood grill were not fresh: frozen stuff from the local supermarket. The pizza itself was burnt (or if you like cooked) at the top but absolutely raw at the base. Not to mention that you are slugged $10 corkage for a bottle of wine which can be bought at the local liquor store for much less than that. The coffee and service were good. Never again.
We started off trying the Arugula pizza. This has been the best pizza my partner and I have ever eaten in all of Sydney. The pizza dough had perfect consistency (not too chewy) and the Parmesan and Prosciutto were strong and fresh in flavour. To really check the pizza dough flavour and consistency, we tried the classic Margherita pizza on another visit. It was perfect once again. Another order of ours was the Pork Belly. Delicious combination of flavours with the red wine jus, cabbage and garlic potatoes. We also recommend the Arancini Bomba as starters. The capsicum flavour comes through really nicely with the potato and beef ragu. The hands down dessert are the brownies, followed by the cannoli. We have told our friends if they want to try the best pizza in Sydney, go to Enzo’s Cucina, Northmead.
Lovely food and friendly service. However $10 for a bottle of chilled tap water that was served in a recycled bottle that stated Sparkling Mineral Water made my jaw drop! We were lucky to have 3 small glasses over the course of dinner. There was no mention of the cost at the time we were asked if we wanted water for the table . Also our dining gift card barcode didn 't seem to work when swiped and the girl didn 't want to manually type in the card numbers, so we ended up having to pay in the end for a dinner that we were hoping to be covered by the gift card. Not happy with that laziness.
We were pleasantly surprised by this suburban Italian restaurant in Northmead. We knew it was a good restaurant as we walked in. It was full for a Tuesday night. Their signature entree board and risotto was very nice. We also ordered the seafood hotpot. Highly recommended. Service was excellent too!
