Tasty Tacos - Northcote

The portion sizes for takeout were very generous and the food exceeded my expectations. I ordered the prawn quesadillas, which had large prawns giving it a great texture. The melted cheese took it to another level. The devil wings had a delicious sauce that was finger-licking good. The pickled chilis complemented everything perfectly. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I love Mexican food! The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the table service was great. My meal was delicious.

My partner and i have been looking for some real Mexican in Australia and we have finally found it, texmex is all well and good but nothing like the real thing and i believe that the guys at Tasty Taco really do traditional Mexican food...well. Cheap booze too.

The restaurant was full and we had to wait for a table to become available. When we finally got a table, it still had leftover food from the previous diners on it. The burritos were a good size, but the taste was bland. The price was also on the higher side. It was a pretty average dining experience. Perhaps we needed to order sauces, sour cream, or guacamole separately to enhance the flavor.

Ducked in for a quick early evening snack and the surrounding restaurants were all full.This casual looking cantina caught my eye. It's wasn't stylish or cool, just old and grey. It was empty which I guess I should have alerted me that something was min later I left ....... puzzled and disappointed. It was tasteless. They ripped me off and when I politely pointed it out they said the menu prices were not relevant because I ordered the BIG guacamole. It was tiny, like a tablespoon. I politely left, never to return, and felt odd about the whole operation.
