Dondurma in Melbourne? And vegan options too? Wait, vegan kunefe? No, I'm not dreaming. And they make Turkish coffee in hot sand! Cuppa Turca, you are legends. Thanks! Updated from the previous review on 2019-05-24 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cuppa Turca:
I dropped in here on my way to the movies, excited to try “Small Ice Cream” but the only vegan options tonight are mixed berry, mango and lemon sorbet. I was quite disappointed that you can get something like anywhere. I had a point of stopping so I got the mixed berry and lemon. It was nice but nothing special. There were a few varieties of Turkish Delight but no vegan baklava. View all feedback.
Really delicious künefe and baklava, lovely teas and coffee! I was looking forward to trying this place, Although I was disappointed as they were really quite unfriendly almost rude : I think hipsters would enjoy this place otherwise you might not fit in. I’ll probably stick with my regular market
Got introduced to this fine Turkish establishment, and was definitely impressed. The Kunefe was bomb! Crispy cheesy and sugary yet each mouthful was dancing in my mouth. Whilst the sweetness may put some off, the bitter Turkish coffee will just do the trick. And yes if u are going with more than 4 persons on a Sat night, be prepared to wait. Everything else, keep calm and wait for your turn to have this sweet treat!
I feel very fortunate to live near Cuppa Turca! It quickly became my go-to coffee spot in Northcote. It's absolutely wonderful!
This is by far the best Turkish kunafa I have ever had. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. It's a cute little café that is perfect for a coffee date. It's also kid-friendly and the prices are reasonable. I can't stop thinking about this dessert since I tried it.
This charming little cafe is situated on a bustling street. It was packed, but the girls at the counter were efficient. The kanafeh was delicious, though the portion size was a bit small for the price. It was freshly made and melted in your mouth. The ice cream served on the side was heavenly! Nearly everyone was enjoying their ice cream, which I plan to try on my next visit.
