We stopped here overnight on our way back from the far north of the state to Perth. We found the staff really friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic (with a price to match) but were clean and comfortable. The food in the hotel was good with generous size servings. We found this is a great place for overnight when travelling north from Perth or on return journeys. View all feedback.

Arrived after sunset from Port Gregory. The rooms are more like cabins or containers. There are quad, triple and doubles. The plumbing is noisy! The kettle seemed to have seen better days and was dirty so I dare not use them. the room is cold and they supply a small heater only. Do not order the salad; they are overpriced, IMO.
All round great meals, although the steak is a bit pricey. Great environment to meet new people, however the current staff are quite unreasonable. My friend told the chef that his steak was under cooked and because of that the chef told the bar maids to stop serving him drinks.

This was just an overnight stop on our way up to Coral bay. We stayed in the motel. The room was basic and clean at least but it needs an overhaul. The bathroom was ancient. The taps and shower head all leaked. There was no ventilation I. The bathroom mirror was not bigger than an A4 piece of paper and there were no hooks to hang anything. The water was hot though which was a positive. We had dinner at the hotel and never again. For a pub meal it was expensive. We had to wait ages for the meal even though there was only a table of four and a family of three there at the same time. I had the chicken parmigiana which looked huge but it was because of the thick layer of batter and the strangest tomato sauce I have ever seen on a parmigiana. The chips were nice. The salad was a mix of several. My husband had the fish and chips. His fish was raw. However to the credit of the staff they were most apologetic and gave us the money back for his meal as well as offering us a free drink. The "chef" came out as well to look at the meal and apologise but we doubted his experience as a cook. I don't like writing bad reviews but hope that this will improve the standards. If we ever stop in Northampton again we would be going elsewhere sorry
This restaurant was our second option, but turned out to be a great choice after the first pub we tried for dinner was closed. The "mid pub" has a charming atmosphere and friendly staff, although it still needs some repairs following a cyclone. The menu offers a good variety of options. We ordered the chicken carving with gravy and the carbonara. Initially, we thought the prices were a bit steep, but when our meals arrived, they were generous portions and very delicious. The staff checked on us during our meal and engaged in friendly conversation. We would definitely consider returning to this restaurant.
