La Torre - North West Leicestershire

I have often been in this restaurant as I like to support local businesses and I am very happy to say that eating was delicious as always. Unfortunately at this visit the service was not great, it was a busy Saturday night, but the young male waiter who looked at us was not very attentive to time that I asked he said he would find out and never came with an answer, so someone else had to put. I suppose he was new and didn't expect him to know everything, but he would expect him to find out and come back to us. all in all still love the restaurant and will only come back a scandal, this visit was the usual standards service wise

First class guest greg thank you. you all felt so welcome and nothing was too upset. the jazz singer, carly george was fabulous. the food was excellent, very tasty and well presented and the cheesecake for dying. the evening was excellent, so thank you. Happy memories and fun times. highly recommended and desfinitiw worth visiting. Once they have experienced la torre, they will be back after the time.

Just great, our regular place for special celebrations or just a lovely meal. True delicious authentic Italian food.

Visited last night for the Tuesday night pasta deal. Amazing food, so fresh and tasty and excellent service as usual. It is so good to have a restaurant of this quality on our door step!

However, the service was lacking during this visit. It was a busy Saturday night, but the young male waiter overseeing our table was not very attentive. Whenever I asked him questions, he would say he would find out but never came back with an answer, so I had to ask someone else. I understand that he may have been new and not expected to know everything, but I would have appreciated him finding out and returning to us. Despite this, I still love the restaurant and will return in the future. It is just disappointing that the service did not meet the usual high standards on this occasion.
