Welcome Parlour Ice Cream

I stumbled upon this place on Google Maps and I'm so glad I did! My friend and I tried the espresso chocolate flake and the double chocolate, even though we usually don't like a lot of different flavors. Both desserts were fantastic! I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

This ice cream shop has a super cute, old-fashioned style that I really enjoy. I love looking at all the nostalgic sweets from my childhood memories. What I especially love is that they make their ice cream floats with bottled Boylan's soda, allowing you to choose any flavor you want from the fridge instead of the usual fountain soda.

I like places like this... local boutique businesses that have a creative friendly vibe and well thought out and executed products. Nice ice cream although not ‘wow’. Interesting flavours although they didn’t have the famed apple pie ice cream that I read about in the BC Ferries magazine. I found the fruit flavours to be the best over the more unique concoctions. Strawberry was filled with tons of whole frozen strawberries while the sticky toffee pudding was just ok. Perhaps stick to the fruit flavours...will try the pineapple mango as suggested by the counter person. My only beef was with the tiny servings...for the price. I assume it was to ration the product as they were busy. If you can find the place, worth a visit when on the north shore.

Yes, My first time in after hearing how great the ice cream is, This place did not disappoint! Our visit was so good we're fans. A rather perfect menu good for families and younger trendsetters, amazing vibe, music, decor and very helpful staff. Its clear to see why this place is so busy.

What a great place! When we have company in for dinner, we like to take them to the Welcome Parlour for desert so they can experience the best in natural ice cream along with some of the best local hospitality. We’re regulars and we love it!
