Disco Pork. Great for a LARGE sandwich on the run, this is one that most have to have two attempts to finish. View all feedback.
What Carson O'Kon doesn't like about Little Vienna:
Not a small bite to eat. Have eaten here multiple times before went later today so no real queue. Generally during any sort of the peak hour there are queues. Had the Vanuatu beef burger. Beef tasted fine and had the multigrain bread to make the sandwich a bit smaller (instead of the Vienna bread) costs a dollar cheaper too. Good as always well worth it if you want something substantial to eat. View all feedback.
This is the restaurant for a cheap, delicious egg and bacon sandwich with a cup of coffee for around $6-7. The bread choices freshly baked are outstanding. Seating available. Near train station for a quick bite for lunch too. If you are in this area and are hungry for lunch or breakfast, try it you are not going to be disappointed.
Hole in the wall sandwich bar, the only reason you'll notice it tucked away on a street full of people construction, is the queue of people standing around at lunch time waiting for their sandwich. I'm not normally a sandwich person, but keen to see what the fuss is about. I got the Mozart Chicken, which consisted of chicken breast, avocado, cheese, tomato, lettuce mayo. Initially a little disappointed with it not being toasted hot. After toasting it myself, it was delicious, the chicken breast was not dry, flavours were simple but gelled well. At $11, there's probably cheaper sandwiches around, but this is pretty good.
There is a long queue, and I'm hungry, this better be good.. and it was <br/ They advertise as having arguably the best grilled chicken sandwich in town and I have to say they could be right. It was supremely delicious!<br/ Tip have it on brown bread, it's softer than the wholemeal option.<br/
I never managed to finish their sandwiches because the portion was huge!!! It's a typical hole in the wall takeaway only shop that serves fresh sandwich on various bread options. I always got the chicken schnitzel sandwich toasted with wholemeal bread. It was thick, fresh, moist from the sauce, and definitely filling! This morning I decided to try the ham cheese tomato toastie for a change, wow the size was twice as much as a normal toastie, there were so much ham in the sandwich. I only managed to finish half and had the other half for afternoon tea. All this was only $4.95. It was very good value for money and decent taste too. This place has been around for many years and appears still going strong. Well done and good luck guys!
_anne_with_an_e review <br I absolutely love a good sandwich and these Vienna sandwiches are a great lunch option. To be honest, I haven't tried many of their menu options, with their menu being fairly extensive, considering it's a small sandwich shop.<br <br I'd always seem to come back for the same Vienna Grilled Chicken sandwich which is delicious! The chicken is marinated and packs some great flavours. It's lovely, tender and succulent. The bread is pillowy soft, and the ingredients are nice and fresh.<br <br Must haves vienna grilled chicken<br Pros prompt service, substantial portions<br Cons busy, queues<br <br Food: 4 5<br Ambience: 3 5<br Service: 3 5
