well, that was the first place where I got a beer after the lock, and we were not let down. the staff was nice, they organized a table, even if we had not booked and they held us with beer up. I had the gammon, eggs and chips, proper pub-grub and it was also half decent. thanks for a good day. enjoy the beer and eat! View all feedback.

Great affordable food comfortable surroundings friendly staff. Food is well cooked and tasty. A warm cosy place for a sociable meal and a chat. Child friendly too.
Very nice pub , cosy and plenty of comfortable seating. Great staff John Paul especially. Good selection of beers , wine and spirits .
Nice basic pub. Polite friendly staff. Good reasonable prices varied menu. We will return when we are next up that North.
The first time for Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed. The size of the meals are amazing and so tasty, we both had hand carved turkey. We shall definitely be returning even though we eat here through the week sometimes too. Great value for money.
