Lobo Rojo - North Shields

No surprise from below reviews. everything was perfect and delicious. we came to the Council and have totally worth it.

Was the second visit would recommend it to every one. Only one little complaint I would have is every time I've been after 10 mins I've had to ask for the drinks menu and it's only cocktails would be nice to see what selection of beers and drinks. And the cocktail menu had at least half a dozen that weren't available

Popped in on a wet Friday November afternoon. Had no idea what to expect and came away absolutely blown away. Their tacos (particularly the Hongos) were absolutely phenomenal. The care and attention to detail put in by the chef's is evident in their food presentation as well as the combination big ingredients. That, and they taste f**king amazing too. The staff were all friendly, helpful and happy to engage with us about the food and drink. The atmosphere was relaxed and we didn't feel rushed once. In fact we deliberately took our time savouring the food and drink. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, stop reading this review and get yourself there now! And while you're at it order a Day Of The Dead cocktail and thank me later.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Portion sizes are great and the food is quite tasty. It isn't the most authentic Mexican food but it's great nonetheless

Terrific Mexican place. Never fails to impress. They really care about what they prepare, respecting Mexican authenticity with an eye on Californian influence too. Went for breakfast for the first time recently for burritos delightful.
